NewsLeecher:
Deleting a previous server and adding a new one:
1. Make sure NewsLeecher is not connected by clicking the connect button and making sure
the the connections say "offline"
2. Click the "manager" tab
3. Highlight the server you wish to remove and click delete
4. A dialog box will pop up and sate that you are about to delete one or more servers, are
you sure...click yes and the server will be removed
5. Now click the add button
6. The server set up window will pop up and ask you for the server details ( ie. usa.uncensorednewsfed.com
)
7. Enter the proper server and login information and then click apply, then click ok
8. Make sure then newly added server has a check beside it in the check-box and then click
connect to test your connection.
Clearing the cache and/or purging existing groups:
1. Click the articles tab
2. On the far left there should be a list of subscribed groups, if there is not click the
blue double arrows to the far left of the screen at the top just up under the tabs
3. The arrows initially face to the right with no groups displayed and they will change to
face the left once clicked on and the groups become displayed
4. Highlight the groups that you wish to purge and then right click
5. Scroll down to where it says "Selected: Purge Group" and click it
6. The dialog box will pop up and ask if you still want to continue...click yes
7. If the group cannot be purged, chances are that the group is either active or has
nothing stored in the cache to be purged.
